TGS has announced successful achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification — the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). This certification, issued by DNV Business Assurance UK Ltd, underscores TGS’ commitment to maintaining the highest standards in data security, risk management, and operational maturity.
This milestone reflects the company’s continued focus on protecting sensitive information and managing risk across its digital platforms and global operations, particularly significant during a transformative year marked by the integration of PGS and continued expansion into emerging energy segments. The audit concluded with zero non-conformity, a notable accomplishment that further highlights the strength of TGS’ internal controls and governance frameworks.
“This certification is a significant landmark for TGS, particularly as we continue to integrate and scale,” said Wadii El Karkouri, EVP Imaging & Technology at TGS. “It validates the strength of our information security practices and provides clear assurance to our customers and partners, reinforcing that TGS are a trusted partner for their data and digital initiatives.”
These marks the first time TGS has achieved certification to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, reinforcing our unified and elevated approach to enterprise security following the recent merger and organizational transformation.
The certification assures a broad range of external stakeholders, including major oil and gas operators, national oil companies (NOCs), CCS and offshore wind developers, and government regulatory bodies — all of whom rely on TGS’ data, software, and cloud-based solutions to support high-value decisions in regulated environments.
