The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has released further update on the ongoing Nigeria 2024 Licencing Round. According information made available on the portal as displayed on its website, the Nigeria upstream regulatory body informed the prospective investors of additional oil field acreages being added to the existing 2024 licencing blocks for grab.
The body also notified its existing and prospective clients of removal of some blocks from its present licencing round owing to some pending courts’ litigations sounding those blocks.
“Due to newly acquired data from the Multiclients, the Assets on offer in the ongoing Licencing Round will be increased. However, PPL3008, PPL3009, PML51, PPL267, PPL268 have been removed from the Bid process due to ongoing litigation.
