Nigerian Pipelines and Storage Company Limited (NPSC), a downstream subsidiary of the NNPC Ltd. has in Abuja , signed an agreement with WAGL Energy Limited for the provision of Operation and Maintenance (O and M) Services to the Escravos Crude Oil Terminal Facility.
Nigeria has total number of seven major crude oil terminals through which her crude oil export is transported. These terminals include namely: Bonny, Brass, Qua Iboe, Forcados, Escravos, Odudu (Amenam Blend), and Tulja-Okwuibome are critical major infrastructures with great economic value to Nigeria.
The maintenance of the Escravos Crude Oil Terminal Facility is deems necessary especially now the country is currently battling to increase its crude oil production output in meeting up OPEC quota and domestic refineries demands and effective and interrupted flow process is termed paramount.
WAGL Energy Limited a joint venture business operated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited and Sahara Group, is set to develop and construct jetties across West African countries to boost the supply and penetration of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the sub-region.
