Alphaden Exploration & Production Limited is currently in the final stage of procuring an advanced oilfield drilling rig and solids control infrastructure from Xi'an Brightway Energy Machinery Equipment Co. of China.
The company has visited the Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, to seek a Ministerial Audience and further discuss its plan to procure a drilling rig from Brightway Energy of China in support of Nigeria's 3 million barrels per day (3MBPD) crude oil production target.
The Company, which started operations over 15 years ago with its focus on African frontier basins, made its first major discovery in the Niger Delta of an estimated reserves of 45 million barrels, and has also expanded operations to East Africa, secured 3 exploration blocks, and made the Zambezi Basin discovery, the largest find in company history.

Alphaden Energy & Oilfield Ltd, a subsidiary of the company with a focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, has secured a $60 million facility from Afreximbank to construct a hydrocarbon and gas processing plant in Bayelsa State, located in the Niger Delta Basin of Projects

The company is constructing a 20 mmscfd mini-LNG facility in Okoroma, Bayelsa State. The facility will take up to 5 days of site storage for all products and the same amount of off-site storage. The products will be transported to the off-site storage facility via self-propelled barges and to the customer site regasification stations via purpose-fit distribution trucks.
The trucks will be able to transport up to 20MT per load, enough to generate up to 120,000kwh of electricity. Upon completion of the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialization program, Alphaden was awarded the rights to commercialize the gas from the Tebidaba Flowstation.
Alphaden is the main contractor to the Assa North Ohaji South Project, which includes the EPC, Site Preparation & Industrial Area Infrastructure Development for Renaissance, formerly Energy Africa Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). Alphaden also won the Provision of Site Preparation and Road Works for Remote Locations (Nigeria Gas Company Manifold) contract for Anoh Gas Processing Company (AGPC) in Assa, imo state, Nigeria.
